Staff of the Museum: The Museum is under the direct control of the Chandigarh Administration, which also gives the financial support to it.

At the head of the Museum Administration, there is the Director, Mr. N.P.S. Randhawa  followed by Mrs. Poonam Khanna, the Assistant Curator and two Curatorial Assistants namely Mrs. Shashi Dhingra and Ms. Seema Gera. The librarian of the Museum is Mrs Sangeeta Sharma, incharge of the conservation laboratory is Mr. Devinder Kumar Ghavri and Mr. Surinder Mohan Dhami looks after the photo section. Mr. P. C. Sharma, Guide Lecturer is the incharge of the Natural History Museum. In addition the Museum has sufficient number of supporting and security staff.
